Your use of color pencils as a medium is amazing. I think Escher would be proud he saw this

Sweet! The technique is beautiful, the bow to Escher is honorable, a wonderful image (I bow to you for figuring out all the weird perspectives and angles) :worship:

This is amazing for just color pencils. I like it a lot, it's very smooth and clear. Good job!

Escher is the master ^^.. unbelievable stuff you have here!! really.. first of all, it's all a matter of fiction & shadowing, and i gotta say, you're awesome at both.. great choices of places to place people.. and a very good sense of colouring.. because this type of art is so hard to do with color.. and escher stuff is more like black and white :P..
this somehow gives me a sense of an Arabian country, only minimalised (maybe by emprializm??)
this deff. deserves a :+fav:!!

This is my favorite out of your gallery! It's so... Well, surreal. So, this is seriously colored pencil? You are freakishly talented with them, then! The only thing that bugs me enough to critique is the little people you've drawn around the scene. I like the effect they give by going against the known properties of gravity, but the simple style they're drawn in seems contradictory to the sharp, realistic feel of the rest of the piece.

M.C. Escher confuses me. So does this. I think that means you did really well, and I'll admit that this is very, very interesting.

OOOoooh. this is great. I bet you got dizzy while drawing it. Exelent shadow work. Makes my

seem kind of puny, hehe.

Very good, I love the shading and detailing. I find escher's work hard to duplicate, but you have done a great job. I like the tones you put into this making it warm, but still removed and disorenting.

I love this, Escher's art is fantastic, and this is a great inspired piece! Reminds me so much of The Labyrinth.
